The Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS) accredits both public and private schools and programs in the following categories: Elementary Schools, Middle Level Schools, High Schools, K-12 Schools, Special Purpose Schools, Supplementary Programs and Distance Education Schools. The organizational grade structure determines the particular accreditation standards under which the schools is eligible for accreditation. Accreditation procedures are virtually identical regardless of the type or classification and standards are consistent from classification to classification.
